Berhan Ltd was established in 1997 – however, our experience reaches far beyond that

Hannu Bergholm founded Berhan Ltd based on his background with international companies Kone Corporation and Nokia Group.

The experience building years
1972-1996

Mr. Bergholm worked for Kone Corporation in a phase when Kone was developing into the first truly international Finnish company. He was actively involved in the integration of acquired companies, and culminated his 15 years as Corporate Controller for Kone Corporation.

Mr. Bergholm was invited to Nokia in 1987. He was a member of the core executive team all through the transformation of Nokia into a telecommunications company, as well as a member of the Nokia Group Executive Board from 1987 to 1996.

Mr. Bergholm first worked as Corporate Controller for Nokia Group, leading the acquisition/divestment of the company. He was then appointed President of Nokia Consumer Electronics Business Group. In both positions he reported to the CEO of Nokia Group.

These 25 years shaped the future for Berhan Ltd.
